    what is masta?

    MASTA has been an elaborately designed and an intensive Master Program on Space Technology Applications(MASTA) in Beihang University£¨BUAA£© since 2006. It is sponsored by the Secretariat of Asia-Pacific Multilateral Cooperation in Space Technology and Applications (AP-MCSTA) and is an engineering and application-oriented program with flexible curricula. English will be used as teaching and instruction language. BUAA will sincerely welcome the students from the member- countries of AP- MCSTA and the No member-countries of AP-MCSTA to join it.

    Only when the number of the qualified applicants for one major is over 10 will the class be open.

     

    1. Program Schedule


    MASTA will launch a two-stage program:
    Stage ¢ñ: 9-12 months in BUAA for the Core Course;

    Stage ¢ò: 6-12 months in BUAA or home country for Advanced Research Projects.

    The faculty for MASTA consists of leading professors, chief experts and senior engineers from Beihang University as well as from other famous institutes and Academies.

    students who have finished stage ¢ñcan obtain postgraduate certificate of buaa.

    The China National Space Administration (CNSA), the Secretariat of Asia-Pacific Multilateral Cooperation in Space Technology and Applications (AP-MCSTA) and Beihang University will sponsor jointly and offer scholarship for MASTA Program 2009.

      • MASTA 2009 will give top preferential consideration of the scholarship to the excellent applicants and to the organizations which recommend more than 2 applicants for this program. ??

      admission information

        • The program will begin in the middle of September 2009 and The deadline for application is May 25, 2009.
        • Applicants should submit Application Form and all application documents required for scholarship before May 25, 2009.
        • The International School of BUAA will send a confirmation letter to the applicants, who satisfy to the requirements for scholarship before June 10, 2009.
        • Applicants are required to make a formal reply before 20 June, 2009. Those who fail to reply within the set time will be regarded as giving up the qualification of scholarship.
