    Qualifications

    • Applicants are expected to study hard, observe the Chinese laws and the regulations of BUAA and have the equivalent of a high school education.
    • Applicants are expected to have good scores and studied hard in high school.
    • Applicants should be under thirty five years old in general.
    • Applicants have good command of English and the ability to take courses in English; Applicants are required to submit the certificates of 550 or more in TOEFL, 5.5 or more in IELTS or any other proofs about English level. If applicants can not provide the above-mentioned documents, they should attend the English Test arranged by BUAA.
    • Applicants should attend the entrance examination and meet the requirements of BUAA in general.

    How to apply

    The way to Apply: Apply in the International School or apply on the internet.

    1. Applying in Person:

      Applicants should submit the following documents to the Foreign Students Office:
      (Office hours: Every weekday 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
      ¢Ù The Application Form for Foreign Students filled out by the applicant.
      ¢Ú A Health certificate with a seal of a clinic or hospital by a medical doctor after a physical examination.
      ¢Û Copies of the applicant¡¯s diploma or certificate.
      ¢Ü The transcripts of academic records in high school.
      ¢Ý A copy of the passport identification page and four passport-sized photos.
      ¢Þ Application fee RMB 400yuan.
      All the documents listed above should be provided in English or Chinese, or with a translation in English or Chinese.

    2. Applying online
      Applicants can visit the website of BUAA, fill out the Application Form, giving clear indication of undergraduate program in English, and finish all the application formalities online. All documents from ¢Ú to ¢Ý listed above should be mailed to International School of BUAA within 10days. The application fee should be paid with application documents.

      Application Deadline: June 5th.

      The number of students for a class should be more than 12 and the application will be come to an end upon all seats being taken.

    Admission and Registration

    a) The Admission Notice and JW202 Form will be mailed to the successful applicants around July 10th. Applicants should complete all necessary formalities and register at BUAA on time as instructed by the Admission Notice.
    b) Registration Time: Early September. The detailed date will be specified in the Admission Notice.
    c) The first year is probation period of students and if students can catch up with the class they will register officially in BUAA for degree study.
