Beihang University is one of the universities receiving international students supported by Chinese Government Scholarship. Since 2006 it has become one of the universities accepting international students supported by Beijing Government Scholarship. In 2007 it set up Foreign Students Scholarship; and in 2008 it was approved as one of the independent recruitment universities for international students sponsored by Chinese Government Scholarship pursuing for their master or doctoral degrees.

At present Beihang has University Postgraduates Program at Beihang University sponsored by Chinese Government scholarship, Sino-American Cultural Exchange Scholarship, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship and Foreign Students Scholarships of Beijing Municipal Government and Beihang University and so forth, with the aim to encourage and support more and more outstanding international students come to Beihang for their study.
