About Beihang

Founded in 1952, Beihang University is the first higher education institution in aeronautics and astronautics in China. As one of China's first 16 key universities, Beihang always stands at the forefront of aerospace research. In 2023, Hangzhou International Campus of Beihang University officially commenced operations. It is strategically situated in the core area of the Hangzhou Chengxi Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor. It benefits from the rich heritage of China’s 5,000-year-old civilization, exemplified by the Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins, and is in proximity to Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City and Hangzhou West Railway Station Hub. Eligibility

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport, meet the conditions set by the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC.

2. Applicants must between the ages of 18 and 22, and have attained a senior high school diploma

3. Applicants must be in good physical and mental health, with proper moral conduct, friendly to China

4. Applicants who’s native language is not English should submit English proficiency certificate within two years, such as the result of TOEFL（90 or above）, IELTS（6 or above）, Duolingo(105 or above) or proof of all courses taught in English issued by high school or other English proficiency certificate

Application Procedures

Step 1 : Complete the registration and pay the application fee

Apply online at http://admission.buaa.edu.cn

Follow the requirements online to complete the application form and pay the application fee.

Step 2 : Submit the application documents online

Submit the scanned copies of the required documents online:

1. The page with personal information in the ordinary passport (the expiry date should after September 30th, 2025)(Applicants in mainland China also need to submit the copy of the current valid visa page or residence permit page)

2. Highest Education Diploma (expected graduation certificate from the high school studying currently can also be accepted, the original high school graduation certificate will be verified at the time of registration)

3. The transcripts that covers all subjects in the period of high school

4. Foreigner Physical Examination Form and the Report on Blood Examination within the validity period of 6 months .(Applicant need to download the Foreigner Physical Examination Form and go to the local regular medical institution to conduct physical examination according to the items listed in the form. The examination results should be filled in Chinese/English, signed and sealed by the doctor and medical institution)

5. Proof of language proficiency that meets the language requirements for the applied major

6. Financial guarantor letter

7. Financial guarantor proof (bank deposit of no less than 4 years tuition fee or annual income of no less than 30000 RMB)

8. Birth certificate of applicant

9. The documentation of the nationality of the applicant's parents when applicant birth (including passport, ID card, the proof of permanent resident abroad, etc.)

10. The certificate of Non-Criminal Record within the validity period of 6 months issued by the local public security authority (Applicants who currently in China need to provide a certificate of no criminal record issued by the local public security department.)

11. An Integrity Commitment Letter to ensure the authenticity of all the application materials you provide

12. Applicants under the age of 18 till Sept 1, 2025 should submit the notarial certificate of Guardian's Guarantee. The guardian should be an adult who lives in Beijing with financial resources

13. Other documents required by Beihang University

The language of documents should be in English or Chinese or attached with Notarized translation document in English or Chinese.

Hard copies of the documents are not required

After the online application is submitted successfully, please pay attention to the status of the online application system and personal email in time

1. Students shall obey all the rules and regulation of Beihang University and China

2. Students shall pass all the exam during foundation course

3. Students shall have 95% or above attendance

4. Students shall pass the interview and exam arrange by Beihang and Chinese Government
