Since the first batch of 18 international graduate students were admitted in 1993, Beihang University has been committed to innovative development, and capacity enhancement. Beihang University is the main supporting unit of APSCO Education and Trainng Center in China, Beidou International Exchange and Training Center, and Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific (China) (Affiliated to the United Nations, six in the world and the only one in China).

At present, there are over 1100 international students from 110 countries studying for degrees at Beihang University . Beihang University offers 250 courses taught in English and more than 3,000 international students have successfully graduated from Beihang with doctoral, master's,or bachelor's degrees, among them waves of brilliant alumni have arisen serving as a link between Beihang and countries worldwide. Beihang offers international student programs for degrees, including undergraduate, Master's and Doctoral programs, as well as non-degree programs such as visiting scholars programs, exchange programs.

Additionally, Beihang hosts a Chinese proficiency test center for HSK and HSKK to meet the needs of students and provides Chinese language international education and Chinese+ Projects. Actively expanding various joint training programs with enterprise collaborations, Beihang is committed to building a multi-cultural campus for international students.

International Relations Department (International School) serves as the centralized coordinating department for the university’s international student affairs, undertaking the centralized administration of international student recruitment, college-based cultivation, student registration, foreign-related affairs, and scholarship & financial aid programs. It collaborates with relevant functional departments to carry out the cultivation, management and services for international students.
