Winter vacation 2017 will start on January 16 and end on February 26, 2017. New semester will start on February 27, 2017.

We sincerely hope everybody will have a good vacation, and would like to call your attention to the following important information:

1. Please register your Personal Information in Winter Vacation in International School before the vacation:

 Undergraduates: Submit to your class advisor before January 10, 2017

 Postgraduate students supported by CSC: Office 317, during January 4 and 6, 2017

 Postgraduate students who are NOT supported by CSC: Office 206, before January 10, 2017

2. The students supported by CSC are required to complete the CSC registration of new semester at Office 206 of International School from March 1 to March 3, 2017. Otherwise, the monthly allowance will be cancelled.

3. Office hours of the International School during the winter vacation:

 Normal office hours, January 16 to 20, February 20 to 24.

 8:30-11:30 a.m., 2:00-4:00 p.m., January 23 to February 19 (Except Saturday, Sunday and the Spring Festival holidays)

During the winter vacation, the classrooms in the International School will be closed.

4. Visa and Residence Permit Extension Hour:

9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday and Friday (Except January 27, January 31 and February 3)

Students should pay high attention to the expiration dates of passport and Residence Permit and go through extension procedures 30 DAYs ahead.

5. International School wants to call your attention to traffic safety, personal safety as well as the property safety during the winter vacation. The advice is as follows:

(1) Please observe the regulations of Beihang University and Foreign Students Dormitory. Overnight staying in dormitory for your visitors shall be strictly prohibited. Do not be drunk. The use of high-power electrical appliances in student dormitories is strictly prohibited (induction cooker, electric oven, etc.) And keep quiet and clean in your dorm.

(2) Please make sure that you have closed doors and windows and turned off the water and electricity before leaving.

(3) Please take good care of your identity documents (e.g. passport, student card, etc.) and the personal belongings.

(4) It is forbidden to buy or ride motor bicycles.

(5) Please keep away from crowded areas or other places with poor public security (e.g. WuDaoKou, SanLiTun Village, Houhai).

(6) Do not set off fireworks and please keep away from the fireworks area during the Spring Festival.

(7) In case of emergency, please dial 010-82317110 for the Security Department of the university or 110 for the police, and contact the International School.
