Dear Students,

In order to enrich students' extracurricular life and courage the healthy exercise lifestyle, the 3rd Beihang University Marathon will be held on December 10, 2016.

A. Time & Place

Time: 8:00-12:00, December 10, 2016 (Saturday)

Place: Shahe Campus

B. Qualification

All students in good health and qualified in physical examination.

C. Competition Events

(a) Relay Race

1.  Introduction

The performance of a group is the sum of all members’ time.

In the relay race, 12 athletes as one group, 8 male athletes and 4 female athletes. The first four athletes are required to be male, fifth to eighth athletes are required to be female, and the last four athletes are required to be male.

In the race, a round is about 1.12 kilometers. Each team representing their own faculty is required to finish ten rounds in total. For the eight male players, each of them should accomplish a whole round(1.12 km). For the girls, each of them should accomplish a half round(0.56 km).

Please download Registration Form for the 3rd Beihang University Marathon attached below, kindly fill it and send by e-mail to register_is@163.com before 17:00, December 1, 2016.

A ticket will be given after done the registration which is used to exchange the Race Number on the competition day.

(b) Single Race

1.  Introduction

There are two events for Single Race, Half Marathon(4km) and Full Marathon(8km).

Each athlete could register only one event. Please make your decision before registration, as changing event is not allowed during the competition.

2.    Awards

Full Marathon:

1)     The First Prize: the 1st-4th Male Athletes, the 1st-2nd Female Athletes

Medal + Certificate + Kindle

2)     The Second Prize: the 5th-44th Male Athletes, the 3rd-22th Female Athletes

Certificate + "Beihang Marathon" Bath Towel or Mi Band

Half Marathon:

The first 20 male athletes and the first 20 female athletes will get the second prize: Certificate + "Beihang Marathon" Bath Towel or Mi Band

3.  Registration

There are three ways for registration:

1)     Please download Registration Form for the 3rd Beihang University Marathon attached below, kindly fill it and send by e-mail to register_is@163.com before 17:00, December 1, 2016. A ticket will be given after done the registration which is used to exchange the Race Number on the competition day.

2)     On December 5th, 2016, students could go to registration point to register. A ticket will be given after done the registration which is used to exchange the Race Number on the competition day.

3)     Register through Wechat Account("北航MrE"). Click "阅读原文" , find"信息北航" and register. An E-ticket will be given after done registration which is used to exchange the Race Number on the competition day.
