In order to enrich the campus life, promote the communication and cooperation between International students and Chinese students, International School will hold the Photo Competition during the 5th Beihang University International Cultural Festival. The requirements and details of the Photo Competition are as follows:

Item One: Qualification and Themes of Photo Works

1. Qualification of Participants : ALL the students studying in Beihang University(international students and Chinese students)

2. Theme of Photographic Works is International Cultural Festival, including traditional culture exhibition, performance, as well as moments of various figures etc.

Item Two: Requirements of Works

1. Photographic works can be taken by digital cameras or mobile phones.

2. Electronic files should be used in submitting photographic works. The size of photos should be more than 2500x1500 pixels, in the format of JPEG, and data quantity should be no less than 1.5MB.

3. Photographic works are not allowed to be processed except the simple adjust of color and contrast. Qualification would be cancelled if the works made by computer composed or plagiarizing a work created by other were found.

4. Photographic works should be taken on the International Cultural Festival Day (May 29th) .

5. Each competitor can submit 2photos at most.

6. Photographic works should be submitted by electronic files to the Email-box of International School through Email (icf_photo@163.com) before June 6th,2016. Each photo should be saved in one folder. Please use one “Office Word” Document to note the subject of photo, shoot place and shoot time, name of competitor, telephone number, Email address and students ID number. All the submitted works will not be returned whether the works are awarded or not. Please reserve the backups in advance.

Item Three: Evaluation and Prize

The Award Committee will evaluate and award the works. The final result will be published on the website of International School (http://is.buaa.edu.cn) and the excellent works will be exhibited in the propaganda windows ofInternationalSchool.

Awarding grades are classified as first prize, second prize, third prize, and nominated prize. The award for the first prize, second prize, and third prize is 500 Yuan, 300 Yuan, and 200 Yuan respectively, as well as the prizes for all nominated works with award certificate.

Item Four: Copyright

International School will have right to use all the photographic works of competition without compensation. If issues of law on portraiture right,piracy or others referred, competitor will take the responsibility.
