The discipline of Aerospace Propulsion Theory and Engineering was one of China’s first doctoral programs established in 1981. In 1988, it was designated as a national key discipline and ranked first in national discipline evaluations. The first-level discipline of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics is a municipal (Beijing) first-level key discipline.
