
Beihang Brazil Center (BBC) is a high-level international scientific and educational cooperation and talent joint training platform jointly built by Beihang University and top Brazilian universities, and has officially settled down in Hangzhou International Innovation Institute in May 2025. As an important carrier of China-Brazil education and technology cooperation, the center takes Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and University of São Paulo as two important cooperation fulcrums, and will expand extensive cooperations with more well-known Brazilian universities in the future. The main cooperation directions and fields include: green aviation, mathematics and physics, artificial intelligence, medical engineering, mechanics and controlling, materials engineering, business and administration, etc. Scientific research cooperation will be deepened by introducing outstanding Brazilian scholars, jointly building laboratories, and postgraduate exchanges. Relying on the industrial and innovation advantages of Zhejiang Province, the center has built a trinity of "talent-research-culture" exchange and cooperation model, and formed a coordinated development network with Beihang Confucius Institute and Beihang Innovation Institute in Brazil (BIIB). The center is committed to promoting academic exchanges and technological innovation between Chinese and Brazilian universities, providing solutions to global challenges, cultivating new quality productivity, and serving the China-Brazil community with a shared future in an all-round way.
