International students who are going to apply for the residence permits on September 23, 2016, please note that:

Original passports shall be submitted to the Immigration Office, therefore,

1. Prepare and keep the photocopy of passport for inspection. (picture page, visa page and page of entry stamp)

2. Passports are expected to be returned in 4 weeks. Please do not arrange any travel or other activities outside Beijing. (Taking the plane or train will be refused. Registration of temporary residence in hotels will be rejected.)
