Notice on Dragon Boat Festival Holiday 2025

Dragon Boat Festival Holiday 2025 starts from May 31 to June 2, 2025. During the holiday, all the classes will be suspended.

The International School reminds all international students to increase self-protection awareness during the holiday, ensure personal safety, and plan their study and research work appropriately. The specific reminders are as follows:

(1) Complete the required departure procedures: If you plan to leave campus during the holiday, please inform your advisor, supervisor, and parents in advance, and keep your communication devices reachable at all times.

(2) Personal safety precautions: Avoid traveling to areas with few safety facilities or with no rescue personnel or lifeguards. Do not go to places without safety guarantees to carry out outdoor activities such as mountain climbing and hiking. Travel with companions and keep in contact with friends or family. Collective outings must not be organized without prior approval.

(3) Traffic safety: Follow local laws and regulations, avoid using illegal vehicles, and do not ride fuel-powered motorcycles or over-limit electric bikes.

(4) Comply with school and dormitory rules, pay attention to fire & electrical safety and theft prevention: No unauthorized overnight guests, no gambling or excessive drinking. Before leaving the dormitory, ensure that windows and doors are closed and secure your important identification documents and valuables. Pay attention to fire & electrical safety and avoid improper use of electrical appliances, poor-quality sockets, or chargers. Cut off power sources to electrical appliances before leaving.

(5) Enhance online security awareness: Be cautious of telecom and internet fraud. Do not click on unknown links, trust unfamiliar phone calls, disclose personal information, or engage in harmful online lending activities. When transferring funds, double-check the details and report suspicious situations to the police immediately.

(6) Personal hygiene and health protection: Prevent respiratory diseases, pay attention to food hygiene, avoid consuming expired or spoiled food, and choose reputable restaurants when dining out.

(7) Compliance with Chinese laws and regulations: Avoid drug use and trafficking, cherish life, stay away from drugs, strengthen self-protection awareness, and avoid unregulated entertainment venues.

(8) In case of special circumstances, please contact your grade advisor, supervisor, or the relevant department of the university immediately.
