Dear Chinese Government Scholarship students,
The 2026 Annual Review for Chinese Government Scholarship Students has officially launched. Participation is mandatory for all students wishing to continue receiving scholarship support from September 2026 onwards (including the students eligible for and applying for a scholarship extension, and the students whose scholarship was suspended in 2025 due to failed review and are seeking resumption).
The 2026 Annual Review will be conducted entirely online. To ensure a timely submission of student self-assessment, please complete your self-assessment preparation and your CSC system login account verification before April 15, 2026.
1. Self-Assessment Preparation
The annual review period covers September 2025 to April 2026.
Student Self-Assessment consists of the following three parts. Statements for each part are outlined below:
w Observe Rules and Regulations, summarize your compliance with rules and regulations including any awards, honors or disciplinary actions received during the review period.
w Academic Study, summarize your academic study or graduation thesis progress and academic achievements publication status during the review period (e.g. paper title, publisher, author ranking and indexable URL of the published papers or monographs, or the title and author ranking of the accepted papers, or the title and author ranking of the patents, etc.)
w Activities Participation. summarize your participation of extracurricular activities during the review term, including academic activities (academic conference, academic forum, etc.), social activities, cultural and sports activities, scientific and technological innovation activities, as well as extracurricular activities organized by the university, department and class, etc.
Note: The text for each part above shall not exceed 1000 characters (Chinese characters or English letters). Students in Chinese-taught programs should complete in Chinese, while those in English-taught programs should fill in English.
Supporting materials:
w Official transcript (required): please print your transcript at the self-service printer or download the electronic version online via http://n.buaa.edu.cn or “i北航” App);
w Additional documents (if any): scanned copies of the certificates of paper retrieval or acceptance, monograph publication, or patent, and the scanned copies of the award certificate and participation certificate in extracurricular activities during the review term.
2. CSC System Account Verification
Please ensure that you can login to your CSC system successfully. Please refer to the attached guide for instructions. If you cannot retrieve your password or encounter login issues, please contact the International School via email at: is_office@buaa.edu.cn before April 12, 2026.
3. Important Reminders
(1) Be sure to complete the above self-assessment preparation and CSC system account verification by April 15 to avoid delays in the subsequent online Self-Assessment. The specific dates and instructions for the online submission of Self-Assessment will be announced soon via the International School website and your grade’s WeChat group. Please complete online submission of Self-Assessment within the prescribed time. No hard copies are required.
(2) Students who fail to complete in the annual review within the prescribed time will be disqualified from the Chinese Government Scholarship.
(3) The annual review results are subject to the final approval by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and will take effect in September 2026.
(4) Students who are planning to apply for an extension of scholarship duration should monitor additional notices regarding extension eligibility and requirements simultaneously.
