The International Research Center for Intelligent Systems and Robotics builds a sci-tech innovation platform covering robotic intelligent perception & interaction, intelligent manufacturing, multi-robot collaboration, and on-orbit space services, guided by the philosophy of integrating science-education and industry-promotion. The center focuses on four core research areas:
1. Spatial Cognition and Human-like Embodied: Covering real-time perception of dynamic scenes, long-term cognition in 3D space, and embodied intelligent interaction of robots;
2. Precision Intelligent Manufacturing Robots: Including ultra-precision mechatronic system design and optimization, micro-nano scale sensing and measurement, and intelligent control of precision mechatronic systems;
3. Multi-Robot Collaborative System: Involving relative positioning of multi-robots, collaborative sensing of multi-sensors, and collaborative planning and control of multi-robots;
4. On-orbit Service Robots for Space: Covering space environment perception and navigation, on-orbit autonomous operation of space robots, and intelligent collaborative control of space robots.
