We should speed up the improvement of the national electronic information level, and provide strong support for the sustainable development of the economy and society. Traditional chip technology based on electronic charge properties has encountered an insurmountable bottleneck, and Moore's Law is gradually becoming invalid. At the same time, with the rapid development of big data applications such as 5G, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence, new device structures, circuit designs, manufacturing processes, and chip architectures for the post-Moore era have put forward higher requirements for integrated circuits. At present, the quantity and quality of professional talents related to integrated circuits in my country are insufficient, which has become an important factor hindering the development of integrated circuit industry. Facing the major needs of the revitalization of the national integrated circuit industry, it is urgent to give full play to the school's advantages in talent training, discipline construction, scientific research and social services in the direction of integrated circuits, and actively build a world-class integrated circuit major. Relying on the State Key Laboratory of Spintronics/ Yuhang Nano center, and focusing on research areas such as new microelectronic device structures and fabrication processes, as well as semiconductor integrated circuit design and manufacturing technologies, practical courses are designed at various levels with microelectronic devices and integrated circuits as the main line. This helps students connect theoretical learning with actual technology and strengthens the cultivation of their comprehensive practical abilities. In order to broaden students' international perspectives, a dual-degree system is established with top international universities, integrating mainstream international technologies and the latest developments into teaching, enabling students to understand the trends in the development of this discipline.
