During summer in Beijing, some students return to their hometowns to spend their summer vacations with their families and friends while others travel around to see beautiful places. Vacations offer us a good chance to re-energize and refresh our minds before getting back to the routine studies. But, there are a handful of individuals who do more than that. These people possess a strong sense of love and passion to know more. They would take a break from their normal schedules to relax and collect ideas for their ambitions and then spend a significant amount of time working on them. For that reason, we want to know if you:
1. Spent your vacations solving a mysterious question in your field that has made you curious for a long time?
2. Participated of a tech project that would make our lives easier in some way?
3. Applied for an internship in a tech company?
4. Attended summer school or enroll in an online course?
5. Met a pioneer of your field?

If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, you can share your experience during the last summer vacation and inspire others in our event 'What You Did Last Summer' organized by International Scientific Society of Beihang University (ISS-Beihang). The topics have to be related with Scientific & academic activities. If you want to be one of the speakers in our event, fill the application form that appears below or download it from https://aiqbal6.wixsite.com/s2is/copy-of-join-us and send it to adiliqbal@buaa.edu.cn before Sunday, November 26th, 2017. This event is a multidisciplinary platform where people from different specialties communicate their experience, ideas and findings to each other. A rolling application policy applies to apply as a speaker. A total of 7 applicants will be selected to give presentation of 10 minutes during the event.
