Tianmushan Laboratory

Tianmushan Laboratory is a new research and development (R&D) institution in Zhejiang Province, which is supported by Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University and Beihang University. It focuses on the national strategic needs, the "Leading Manufacturing Province" plan of Zhejiang Province and the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the Development of Aerospace Industry of Zhejiang Province, with the goal of achieving breakthroughs in the aspects of basic theories and technical principles. There are currently five world-class and domestic leading research centers, including the Green Civil Aircraft Intelligent Design Center, Green Civil Aviation Engine Integrated Design Center, High-performance Materials and Advanced Manufacturing Center, Intelligent Flight Management, Airborne Energy Integrated Center and Research and Testing Center of Low-altitude Transportation Equipment Technology. Aiming at the forefront of aviation science and technology in the world, a series of significant original innovation research with international impacts are conducted to overcome the "bottleneck" of key technologies and to achieve innovation in the core technology of aviation field as well as leading capacity of aviation science and technology. The laboratory will facilitate industry-university-research integration, build up the source of innovation and talent highland in the global aviation field, and the leading aviation scientific research platform in China. It will also provide supports for Zhejiang Province to become one of the strong aviation manufacturing provinces in China.
